Eh you could buy an EGR blockoff vavle. I have one on my '63t. Only about $15, just a better alternative to buying a new EGR valve.

i put a new EGR valve, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. Everything thing seems to be working well. At the moment there isnt any carbon bulid up coming out of my exhuast. Hopefully everything stays working properly for a while. There is one thing that I was wondering, when my car is on and sits for a while the fans never come on but as soon as I switch on my A/C the fans turn on. very odd What do yall think?
