Is their a way i can turn off traction control?

It seems like traction control is killing my 0-60 time. Is their a fuse i can pull or something like that to turn off the traction control?

Yep, you have to pull 2 fuses from under the hood. I'm not sure what ones, the first one is a 50A fused link (big red sucker) and the other is a 10A fuse for the ABS. With both pulled you will have no ABS and no TCL. I pulled them for autocross and never put them back...it's easier to take corners harder without ABS. I dont suggest you do this, as disabling a safety device is bad. And I highly doubt that the TCL is really hurting our 8.5second 0-60...you may pick up .1 at best. I now have a switch hooked up to the 50A fused link to turn off TCL and ABS at will....

So if i take them out just to see if theirs a difference, it wont be a problem to just pop them back in would it?

You may have to reset you ECU to get it to work again...that's what I had to do once...otherwise yep

I dont know, but I took out both the ABS fuses (the 50A and the grey one (MR#409996) just below it.

I have a V6 and I hope you do too, otherwise the blind are leading the man with one eye.

Even without TCL I dont spin alot....if I had stock Goodyears tires and 16s it was easier but now I have 18'' wheels and gummy tires so unsprung weight and sticky tires is against me.

you only need to remove the ABS/TCL fuse from inside the car (in the fuse panel... number 12, I think).

the light will come on, rendering both systems useless.
reinstalling the fuse should shut the light back off.

but honestly, TCL is NOT killing your 0 to 60 time. If youre getting that much wheelspin, Id suggest better tires.

Is the TCL the reason why when i hold the brake down and try to press the gass the rpm wont go more than 20%? or is that a whole different thing?

Hmmm, you sure that's all you need to do? I think I tried that? Oh well you're the tech.

thats not the tcl.... thats your torque converter stall speed.... i wouldnt do it.... or your next mod is a rebuild transmission.
