After numerous requests for "how did you get that on your Galant" I decided to post a "tutorial" - not a real tutorial I guess, cuz A) Theres not much to it and I didn't have the right tools so I don't know the best tools to use. But anyway, here goes.
Firstly, I got my JDM Integra Mugen Lip from Ebay for a 98-01 Integra. They are all over, and mine is ABS Plastic and hasnt had a single problem at all since installation.
All I had to do was heat up the edges of it and re-bend them to fit because the bumper of Integras are slightly longer than Galants, then had to do a small amount of cutting in the middle of the Integra lip to contour with the opening of the Galant "mouth" area. Heres some pix of what I did. The red arrows and lines show where I cut:
These next pics show how I bent the lip with heat to fit the Galant:
Using the long-stem lighters someone would use to light a grill it took me 2 hours to finish this project. I had two other bolts in the middle of the lip as well in the "mouth" area but they fell out, but the lip holds up just fine anyway. Let me know if you have any questions.

i have no idea how you guys get lips on that good, but that's one solid project
Man so it was that easy? I am ordering mine now. But my question is I wonder how a CF would work being that you couldnt heat CF and bend the edges like you said. Any ideas I want a CF one?
wow i think i found my next exterior mod...
anyone with an 8G and the Type R style lip?
The cf would probably crack up if you tried to heat it...
I recommend a propane tank to heat the ABS plastic lip, it would have been a quick deal if I had the right tools
To cut I just used a dremel, easy stuff
Thanks for the comments too

na has to be a direct flame moved around rapidly at the area where the bend will occur
how much the lip run you?

i did the same thing, but i still dont like how it looks. my car is white, so im in the middle of molding the lip to the bumper. its looking good, so when its done i can switch from that to my cyber 2 front end, hmm which one today...hehehe. I got my lip kit from a local homie who sells lip kits and other goodies. My cost was 40.00.
Accident. Deemed Unfixable. Got a check for it.

I am going to try that.. thanks for the DIY.
This is what I'd use..hotter, but more consistent flame...and faster likely.

You should check the price on those now. They're about $100 now.
Another option is to try and find a local "Tuner" shop - there's one in San Francisco that has a bunch of good quality lips for around $75
arel bro, shit turned out great...
i didn't know you'd do that good of a job. lol j/j

Dustin, you cant add the intrega lip. Its for the 99-01 bumper. I think you gotta use a different lip. I maybe wrong but you might wanna look into it.
