Floor mats, interchangable between 7G and 8G?

I would like to buy diamond plate floor mats, but can only find them for the 8G. Anyone know if I'll have major fitment issues with these?

my mats are stock 8g (out of a '99 V6) mats. the back ones fit perfectly, the front ones arent bad. they matched my interior color perfectly too.

so if they used the stock ones as a template they should work fine.

Gotta have diamond plated floor mats just in case your laptop says "Danger to manifold" and your floor boards fall out. Have to be safe!
