    grill mod

    I cut the fins on my grill and put mesh instead. I have a white galant.
    What color should I paint it?

    Any suggestions ?

    no pics yet. I still have to fix the little "bumps" left over by the fins...

    i shouldn't spray the radiator right?
    so you guys saying I should paint the grill white and the mesh black?
    btw apprx how many minutes should i wait between coats?

    follow the can's instructions on drying time and watch out for runs.

    this is a shitty picture of my car with the black grill on.
    I'll take a better picture tommorow.
    So what do u think? should I color match the grill?

    i am still undecided on weather to paint the grill white and leave the mesh black...
    as of the radiator support... it will definetly be painted but the problem is:

    looks like its is going to be hard to sand it... as well as to cover the radiator before painting it...
    any tips?

    the brackets that hold the radiator in are right there on top. so if you just take those out, you can move the radiator enought to stick like a piece of carboard or paper over it to protect it. just remember to take out out when you're done.
