today i start the car and this happens:

    TCL and ABS are lit.
    headunit will not power on.
headlights are a bit brighter, window regulators are stronger.
i haven't checked the fuses yet, i'll do that in the morning.
haven't checked for trouble codes yet (SES light is on because of tranny swap)

when the car is warmed up and rpms drop below 1000 my headunit gets power. when rpms go above 1000 my headunit goes out again. the edfc (which is connected to the same main and accessory power as headunit) stays on, rpms do not affect it.

i let the car idle and blast the music, my amplifier works fine, it doesnt seem to affect any of the electrical output. i drive it hard, and it doesnt seem to struggle. i've been driving back and forth on errands and all other electrical seems fine, battery and alternator seems ok. i know i haven't checked everything i just wanted to post this up to see if anyone has input on it.

WTF is going on?!?! :puzzled1: :puzzled1:

Don't know how much power the edfc requires but it seems like its abit of a strain on that one circuit(?). Maybe you should run it off another accesory instead of the headunit. What have others done with the ss-p setup?

Sounds like it might be a grounding problem. That or the Battery cables are loose/corroded.

For the right price, nothing is impossible.
