Well I am getting the GVR4 ready for some Autocrossing soon so I needed to make some improvements in my engine monitoring vitals.
Well after months of shopping and deciding which gauges to get that a nice but within my budget I went ahead and bought the Prosport Gauges. Previously the car was fitted with Greddy EGT/Boost/Oil Pressure gauges I wanted a change and plus the gauges were tampered and the lighting doesn't work on the Boost after several months ago when I was living in a apartment, some asshats "tried" to steal some stuff from the car but never did. I caught them in time before they did but some stuff were "mangled".
After some researching..I felt confident in these gauges. I bought the Boost/ Oil Pressure / Oil Temp/ Fuel Pressure / and Water temp step motor gauges. The Boost and Oil Pressure though have the extra peak warning feature and peak playback feature.
I installed them this weekend and it took half the day to do so. Took me a bit longer because I went ahead and swapped my headunit from my other Galant into the GVR4 and cleaned up some wiring "mess" at the same time. I have to say..these gauges are very nice and bright and I am very pleased. I have yet to really test them out but for the couple of hours I tinkered with them, they work wonderful.

I went ahead and bought the 3 din gauge pod holder that angles towards you. I need to modify a little bit more to fit the gauges a little bit better
C/F speaker pod with the Boost and Oil Pressure stepper peak/warning gauges.

Damn man, those look really nice. If I were to do mine all over again in the Eclipse, I wouldn't have done Autometers either. I've had 3 fail. 1 bad outta the box, 2 that went over the last couple months. I should take a pic of mine at night too, they sure look good when they're all working. I have my wideband to install and really have no where else to put another gauge. I thought about taking out my voltmeter but its a huge pain to take the dash all apart again. Thinkin of ordering the EVO glove box gauge holder and trimming to fit. Glove box is about the only other place to go for me. Nice work.

looks really good kevin. especially when theyre illuminated. I like where you put those other 2 gauges a nice alternative instead of putting gauges on a pillar pod. Looks real good bro.
The gauges took me about half a day to install. I did alot of rewiring and cleaning up the wiring "mess" from the previous owners I guess. Installing the gauges weren't that bad...pretty straight forward. The Boost and Oil pressure on the C/F pod were really easy to supply power...all you had to do is supply power to one gauge and there is a wire they provide that acts like a power link to power another gauge. (Much like Christmas lights).
I have done my research and the Supra guys swear by them, The 3KGT guys love them etc etc. I have researched and have recieved comfirmed claims that the Prosports are more accurate that the much more expensive DEFI gauges. These gauges are much more responsive and accurate it seems than the Greddy gauges I had previously.
All I need is the water temp sensor adapter so my Water temp gauge will be useful. I recommend them and already the customer service I recieved from them is top notch. They answered all my questions and it only took 2 days for all the gauges to arrive to my house WELL packaged too.

I like the speaker guage pod, but how visable are they from outside? Im going to do the 3 gauge din holder and probably through a gutted factory faceplate over it while its parked on the street. So far thats the advatange of my Belize Green it atract unwanted atention, and I kinda want to keep it that way until i buy a house.
lol funny you say that about the DEFI, thats the ones I plan to upgrade to, the Blue racer series.

Fitting the JDM front and rear bumpers sheds about 200 lbs. The USDM rear bumper alone on these cars weighs very close to 90lbs. I eliminated the A/C and misc weight like the Cruise control, ABS, and EVAP canister emissions crap too. I am awaiting for this shop to finish making tubular control arms for the front which should reduce front suspension load. I am trying to shed as much weight as I can, but still maintian the full interior "street" look.Are you planning to shave some weight off for autocross?

Don't know yet...but I am doing research on the Hankooks, Bridgestone, and Yokohamas. I have to find different wheels though...looking for a wider wheel and a different offset.good luck on the autocross!

We'll see..though I am not confident driving a car I am racing that far. I do want to take it to the Gainesville Raceway, they have a pretty decent circut track. falken fk-451's but i think they are out of production. they have been replaced by the fk-452's.
i am running 225-45-17 on circuit. i had a couple of wild spinouts on track with the fk-451's but my bad. i was too hot/ too fast coming into the corners. hehe!
also get good brake pads and brake fluid. i am using bendix kevlar pads or tanabe pads or ebc pads and ate dot4 brake fluid.

Falkens was the other tire I was looking into also...I have good personal experience with those tires.
Currently my brake setup is the stock dual piston fronts with slotted vented rotors all around with Axxis metal masters. I am looking to upgrading to some type of 4 piston big brake caliper/rotor combo.

Falken Azenis RT-615s are one of the top AutoX tires here in the states. Cheap too, only $80-130 a tire depending on size. Thats what I am going with when I get set of track wheels :)

these are very abrasive to the rotors.
i am currently using bendix aramid fibre matrix pads. these are kind to rotors. i use dual piston brakes too. mine came from an evo. the product code for my dual piston pads for the evo is: DB1223 4WD. i think the pads are also used for the newer model dual piston brake pajeros.
