Rear Spoiler?

Hey guys,

Stuck in traffic and saw quite a few Galants with a higher spoiler than my one, with a brake light right in the centre, would this fit my 1992 Galant Viento? I prefer it better than my low profile spoiler I've got atm.

That's the one I'm talking about. I think it's pretty standard.

that's the standard 8G spoiler... and it does fit

Okay, awesome, I like the looks of it better than the one I've got, so might nick myself one of them. They shouldn't be too hard to find.

If you are going to do that, then I suggest you replace the bootlid with a non spoiler one first, so you don't end up with it being bogged and the possibility of rust.

As the later one only has 2 mounting points, where as the 7G has 3

I was informed the 8g bootlid is curved differently, so he's not sure if it'll fit exactly, is that true?

jasmine there is only two ppl to my knowledge that have the 8g spoiler like on the picture on a 7g, me and shadow19, havent seen anyone else, but yes it does fit, you will have about 1 inch play between the edges of the trunk....

Alternativly you could go for the 95' spoiler for the VR-4 they had here...

Looks kinda like an evo 4 spoiler, there are a few around with them on.

Ah honestly, if things aren't drilled into me, I will not remember. LOL.

I think I really do prefer the 8g spoiler.

Boot/trunk. Us countries have our differences in ways of saying things. Like the whole mozzies/skeeters debate I got into
