    4 - 5 stud / lug swap

Yes I know its been covered heaps before... But this is a bit different.

Car is a jap import VR4 - I'm wanting to go to 5 stud so I can use a much better selection of wheels (and put some evo brembos on  ) but no-one here in NZ has done it on a road legal car. A couple have with the early evos, but they're a slightly different setup.

If anyone has photos of the hub assembly and front strut area of a USDM car, ditto for the rear. My car shares struts with the 8G galants / legnums, if yours do as well would be mucho helpful.

Already has twin piston fronts / disk rear, just need to check all the setup is still the same - mounting points for susp. arms, etc etc.

    Cheers :)

The VR-4's are the same as the 8G only

The USDM doesn't use the same suspension as us for their 7g..

You thought about just swapping out to the Galant/Legnum hubs ?
I have been looking into it and it's probably the easiest way man.

Our 7th gen uses the same suspension as your 8G

    you have a 7g vr4 yes?
if so, you suspension is in fact the same as the world spec 8g's
but the knuckle is differnt in the sense that your brakes won't bolt on to it. and that its brakes won't bolt on to yours.
that rules out the evo brakes,
unless you first get the knuckles from a world spec 8g.

This is the tutorial i wrote, but here are a few more pics.
    front hub assembly bolt pattern

    rear hub assembly bolt pattern

Keep in mind your actualy rear hub assembly will have a hole in the middle like the front does for the rear axles.

When i went to the local parts store i asked for hub assemblies for 2nd gen eclipse 95-99 GST. I'm not sure if the bolt pattern is different for the rear hub assembly.
