well every brake pad is going to create dust man. you cant do anything about that. depending on what type of material the pads are from, the dust will be more or less noticeable.

my hawk pads don't really squeel. so thats good. they do dust but not that much. i drive through alot of mud anyways so dust doesn't bother me. but yea, unlike my old autozone pads, my hawk pads hold up well for high speed braking and emergency braking situations

Which are better the Hawk Pads or the Axxis/PBR pads?

i hade the pbr before, and the hawk currently. Hawks are 100% better IMO. I dont mind the brake dust, i rather be able to stop on a dime, then worry about dust which can be hosed off

Well the respected brake companies always seem to include Hawk pads in their performance brake upgrades, so that's what I go by.

I have had my Hawk's on for 14,000 miles now and I'm starting to experience squeaking and a slight grinding in my pedal (they must be worn). Brake dust was typically worse with the stock rotors.

I highly recommend them....I thought they might last longer but when I switched over to Powerslot I probably should have got a brand new set. It's amazing how much better quality brake parts hold up in general. I used quality stuff up front and some Raybestos Powerstop in the back, you can tell which is the better product :D

The HPS pad is what your looking for, its a street ceramic pad, instead of the extreme performance hp plus, which will warp rotors, dust, and squeal, but they will stand your car on its nose if you have the tire. Remember Hawk makes many different compounds of pads so complaints you may hear might be for a different pad than what your looking at.

I have hawks and so does goosey2099 and all they do is squeek. From day 1 of being installed.
I also had axis metal masters and no squeek with those.
As far as where to get the hawks try no limit motorsports they are located in Long Island and ship fast 1-866-381-4618

And that fact that they sponsor SECA Solo has nothing to do with it :P
