This is the price for the kit not the install. All you will do is order the kit. We ship it to you and your local shop or yourself if you are confindent enough to install it. Install of this kit would run about an extra $800-$1000 due to what all is involved.

This is one of those things you would really want to have for it to make sense. If I wanted a standard tranny, I would likely go find a Stratus RT manual. If I wanted a sporty, I can go to Level Ten an get a sporty chip . Therewas a reputable tranny shop in Harriman NY who quoted me 1,500. for a heavy duty Torque Converter and Valve Body job parts and Labor incl.

All this having been said while our autos are somewhat soft, we hear remarkably little about tranny failures. I have 80k on a 99 and had some TC shudder which went away when I changed the tranny fluid at about 65K. The 999 owner's manual and Service manual was full of shit when they recommended not changing the tranny fluid and looking at it at 60K. Change it evry 30 at least.

Yes you could go down to your local junkyard and try and search and find all the parts that you will need to do this swap.. Trus me it's a lot more than just the tranny and clutch and flywheel, and ECU.

Our "kit" will include everything needed to do this swap. We will even do the swap for you if you live close enough. We will also include a detailed how-to. Because to our knowledge this has never been done before on these cars.

So with that said...here are some pics of the swap in its different stages. The weather has been so bad lately that we havent been able to finish this project (not to mention, waiting on parts) but here goes.
