    shortshifter

    i need to no what shorft shifter will fit my 98 galant please help me...my boy has a powershifter i want to no if it will fight

    my car is a five speed..i have looked before but can not find the post..will other short shifters fit the 7g?

    i have a short shifter from a 95-99 eclipse. most the 7th gen people with short shifters have the b&m replica that costs like $50 on ebay

    alot of 2 gen eclipse parts work for us.

    anu of those will work, i got the B&M but i know alot of guys here have the replica and have had no probs.

    get a b&m replica.
    do not get a fidanza, or the OBX
    they will not clear the stock shifter trim, and they are not as well engineered as the b&m

    if you get one, make sure it doesn't already have a shift knob cast into it.

    haha Any DSM turbo/turob manifold will bolt up to the SOHC head. You can use 2g stock piping or aftermarket with some modification, shouldnt be too bad. Do a search though, theres lots of info here :)

    Any 2g short shifter works.

    I bought mine from a guy on Ebay. He said it was custom made with a pretty high end metal and CNC machined. Its pretty light and I have made some pretty hard shifts on it and its held up.
