    noises under the steering wheel

    when i dont even turn the steering wheel, i hear a noise that is coming from under the dash (or the steering) and it sounds like stierfom is rubbing together or something like that.

    what could be the problem?

    Have you looked underneath your dash to see if anything is visibly loose? Are the air ducts there secure?

    Your problem will require some on hand inspection. Start moving things like the steering column covers, underdash panel, etc etc to see if you can emulate the noise.
