    a LOT of misfires

    ive been having a lot of misfires all the time speally when the car warms up. the check engine has been on for a while so i dont know i there are any sensors or something cousing this what do you guys think?

    Get the codes read first, find out what the issue is. Couldnt hurt to change the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and distributor.

    so i scanned it today
    i got 4 codes they are as follows
    P0420
    P0340
    P0705
    P1750 does anyone know what they mean??

    P0420-warm up catalyst converter efficiency below threshold
    P0340-camshaft position sensor circuit
    P0705-transmission range sensor circuit range malfunction (PRNDL input)
    P1750-A/T control relay malfunction

    sounds like your tranny's going

    could that P0340-camshaft position sensor circuit be bad timing??
    damn my tran i repaired it almost a year back its been working nicely i dont get it ill have it checked

    according to my manual the codes should be the same...

    i just checked my trans fluid it was EMPTY!! i added 1 qt of oil got it back to where it was supposed to be..... could this be why the car gave those codes?? becouse the receipt they gave me says hydraulic control system fault causes low trans fluid lvl or failed hydraulic control unit

    i hate to tell you this, but i your tranny was dry, it will probably have to be replaced soon. That caused some major damage on the junky mitsubishi auto tranny

    it was dry couse last week i replaced the axle and the tranny spilled oil and i forgot to add more!! lol anyway am buying a new car soon
