    EIBACH

    Good Morning,

I saw this on ebay. Would this fit on my car. I have a 4 cylinder DE model, year 2000. He says it would only lower about 1.2. Good or not good? Any advice?

Ya I looked on that website and it does have good prices. The only thing is they don't carry Eibach Springs for a 4 cylinder car. Do you know anybody that has good springs for a 4 cyl? Any advice. Thanks!

actually no1 sells eibach's for the 4cyl. they dont exist. the pro kit was made originally for the gtz but then people later found out that it would fit the lower trim levels too. another option is to look at the pro kit for the eclipse, if u wanna go with eibach. i think they have one for the 4cyl

have there been any reported differences in drop with the 8g 4cl with the 6cy springs...will it still be a 1.2f 1.2r drop? same results if one was to buy the 3g 4cy eclipse prokits?

So is there no springs made for the galant 4 cylinders at all? I mean I would love to get Eibach, but if they don't make them for my car, well "F" them! Anywaz does anybody have springs on their 4 cylinder car? If so what brand do you all got?

Question when they say you can lower it 1.5 does that mean thats how low you have to go on the spring or does that mean you can adjust it up to 1.5, ex: if I wanted to only lower it a inch could it be done? I hope someone can help.

    Thanks!

in the rear, ur probably not gonna notice a difference but in the front u might since thats where the motor is and definitely, the v6 motor weighs more than the i4.

as for the weight difference from the galant and the eclipse, if u compare them to the one with the same motor, its not that much. it couldj sut be the difference between a skinny guy and a fat guy or if u have a system or not.

the eibachs will fit on ur car. back in the day, many companiese sold springs that were for all the 8g's no matter the engine size. they just listed the different drops due to the differences in weights which affected the drop weight. on springs, the drop rate is pretty much set. the springs might get seated or settle a lil bit but thats about it. if u wanna fine tune ur drop, ur gonna have to get some adjustable springs or coilovers.
