Summit/ Mirage tranny

I know its been talked about alot, but Ive been too curious about it. So I found Summit with 1.8L 16V SoHC engine fitted with manual tranny, found on Euro Galants. The engine looks exactly the same as 4g64.Does this tranny fit our cars

PRETTY sure it does fit. That motor should be the 1.8L 4g67? I know a lot of the Mirage guys that do 4g63t swaps use the stock Mirage trans.

Older style Mirages(pre 1998?) should use the F5M42 manual trans. No clue on the gearing or how well it will hold up. Stock 5spd 7g will be the F5M31

If it's the same tranny, since the Euro Galants use the SOHC 4g63, I'd say yes.
