    wheel hub bearings

im pretty sure i need to change my front wheel bearings. the front end howls and thumps fairly loud and shakes a bit at high speeds. it sounds almost like a scroll saw cutting through wood. if it is the bearings i figure id just change the entire hub assembly while im at it. the car has 90k on it, its a 2000 2.4l. does it sound like the bearings? if so, any one know where i can find the hub assemblies for a fare price? thanx in advance

first stop should be a auto part store. They may be able to order it for you. Also try Mistubishi-parts.com they have just about everything.

the hubs and the bearings are 1pc, u cant just change out the bearings without changing the hubs

autozone rarely carries them, ebay usually sells them in pairs for a better price

Find a National bearing dude, dont go cheap on bearings, many nasty things can be caused by going cheap on them. I've seen almost all of it.

werd, I just did a recall yesterday on like 40 bearings i had to pull to send back to national.
National is the best you can get next to the dealer. Anything cheaper is well.............
Not safe or in your best interest.

Jobber on that is $115.22 so aint no way you getting it for 99 bux unless its not National or maybe its a reboxed item. (reboxed meaning cheap parts in a expensive box)

TImken is good also but not better than National, and what a coincidence you looked that up on one of my jobs websites. We own that one too:)
