Mine used to do that, but mine is an auto. Just had the mechanic increase the idle & it was fine.
Would start at 800ish, then drop to 500, then stall. Once the mechanic messed with the idle, it was fine.
My G8 Galant stalls in morning first couple starts due to falling rpm, followed starts will kick off and good to go... What's going on with it...? Should i be worried...? BTW its a pertol engine with manual transmission.

You mean 8G right? As in the 8th Generation?

yes that is prolly what he meant
I have had similar problems in past cars and increased the idle to cover up the problem and it worked for a little while. But the real problem for me was always a vaccum leak somewhere causing the idle to drop and fluctuate. So when that happens to me now...that is the first thing i look for b/c for me that has always been the case.
