wheels for our galants

I own a 1995 Galant and I am purchasing new rims after selling my ferrettis a yr ago. I had 17's and I am looking to put on 18's. Can we clear our cars with 18's and no rubbing problems? I have the KYB AGX adjustable shocks suspension. Is there a specific offset I need, and does i matter too much
if its ( X 7.5 or X 8) tire size in 18's Please help me out !:smt038

this thread should help you with tire sizing, the offset you want should be in the 40's probably or it might stick out past your fender.
