impressive
i am doing a complete engine rebuild for my 4G63T in my 6g galant from bigger .50mm turbo pistons down to new conrod bearings plus some extra new parts i installed in like a new water pump, new timing belts a and b.
since the engine was out, i decided to get a new exedy pressure plate, clutch disc and release bearing as well.
i am back to square one. i need to rack in 1000km for the break-in before i can have some turbo boosting fun.

also, this is my turbo td05 16g. it came from an impreza gt555.

i am using a mitsu lancer-evolution III exhaust manifold for my subaru impreza gt555 td05 turbo bolted on to my 4G63T mitsu vr-4 engine. unity in diversity. hehe!
a friend offered me his spare t28 turbo but another friend said to just keep my td05 because:

The Impreza GT555 or the Terzo in the U.K. is a rare car -
1997 saw Subaru win the WRC manufacturers title for a third time in succession. Even before the official announcement to the UK Subaru dealers, rumours were circulating over the inevitable release of a third special edition, with the possible specification suggested being very close to the final car. Available from April 1998 onwards, at an on the road price of UK Pounds 22,995, a total of 333 "Terzo" special editions have been produced (numbered 1 to 334, omitting 13). Terzo is Italian for third. This is to celebrate the third WRC championship victory in a row, and hence the third special edition.
so the gt555 is like a special car probably as special as the richard burns impreza edition, the tommi makkinen evo 6.5 or the 6g vr4 monte carlo edition.
