    EGR Solenoid

Anyone know where it's located? When I swapped out the EGR valve I didn't see one unless I am a complete moron. I did a bit more research and found out that since the same code happened on two different valves it would be wise to check the solenoid.

follow the hoses the solenoid is connected to the t part that goes away from the main line is the solenoid.

checked autohaus and unless im mildly retarted, i couldn't find anything to do with the EGR system at all let alone the solenoid.

I found one place offering the EGR Solenoid. It is for a 6 cyl 8G though. Does anyone know if this would fit the 4 cyl? Im thinking no, but figured I'd check with the TGC pro's

So after all of the searching

After all the research and trying to find different solutions, the EGR wasn't the problem. The solenoid checks out, someone (most likely not me) crossed up two vaccum lines and the intake manifold had a lot of carbon deposited in it. If all goes well as far as letting cleaner do its job to break apart the carbon, I should be good to go tomorrow with no check engine light.
