    eBay Cold Air Intake Deal

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-...spagenameZWDVW

Does that look reliable and is it a good price?

I have no clue how much one should cost.

Is this something I can put on myself?

    Thanks.

Okay, I have concluded that I need to get a cold air intake instead...

A short ram intake will be very little of an upgrade over the stock intake in my galant... or so I assume...

I have no experience or knowledge in this area, thus the thread. :)

Get the Cold Air Intake because you can alway sremove the bottom piece of pipe and make it a short ram when it rains.

its a cheap price... aem website has it for$40 and Injen has it for $44....
AEM Short Ram Intake based on the fact that this engine already emphasizes off the line power and the short ram allows the air to reach the MAF sensor faster, and are also known for bottom end power.

In my opinion I would not buy something like that off ebay. I mean, think about it...would you really sacrifice your car to save a few bucks on something very important to your engine? I just ordered an injen for about $200.00. If you want to skimp on something do it somewhere else on the car, like interior or something. This is only my opinion, so, do what you want, but if I didn't have the money or didn't want to spend the money on a quality product, then I wouldn't bother at all. I'd buy a k&n filter and maf adapter with the stock intake piping before I got an ebay kit. Like I said, this is only my opinion,,,no offense to other members that may have an ebay kit,,,just my personal preference on the subject.
