Alarm Problem

Hows it goin i'm new on here and wanted to know if any of you guys had heard of this problem. My 96' Galant has had a problem with the alarm for about a year. Every now and then the alarm will go off any time any other door then the drivers is opened. This gets very annoying fast and then it lasts for a couple days then goes away for a month or 2. I knew I had a short somewhere and the dealer said mitsubishi wont give them a wiring schematic and He would have to replace the whole wiring harness.
