    Oil light

    I just wanted to know something. the red oil light at the dash kinda turns on and dims but it doesnt stay" on " when I'm driving usually when the cars gears on D and my foot on the brake not while is moving nor whens in Parking gear. I just changed the transmision oil and checked the engine oil.. its fine. what can I do to fix the light or should I take it to the dealer????? thanx

    What year car do you have so I can put this in the right forum. But anyway maybe your sensor is going out. Do you get a check engine light?

    2000 ES . thats whatI thinks might be. no the engine light dont come up . but its weird coz only turns kinda on when I'm fully stopped when I'm driving not when I'm parked. and also not right away when I turn the car on starts appearing a lil after I get to drive. thanx
