    Tow capacity

Hey guys, I am thinking of buying a waverunner in the fall (sept/oct), and just wondering how the galant hold up? I know it can pull it no problem considering it probably wieghs 1000lbs max, probably less. But would it cause strain when I load the waverunner down the boat ramp? I'd think some of you have waverunners or similar, any comments? By the way I live in FL so I can use it all year round...which would mean about every weekend!

Should be able to handle it no problem. Thing I would be concerned about is it forcing the rear down too much, but that's about it.

I pulled a bid 4 wheeler this past winter about 100 miles, the G never even skipped a beat. I did get stuck in the mud however, so a word to the wise is.. keep the Galant on pavement whenever possible! It's not an off-road car, there is too much power distributed to only that front right wheel.

Thats what I thought Wes. After looking up the wieght of some PWCs they are well under 1000lbs and ussually around 500-750lbs. I won't try to drive my car on the beach either! Just keep it on paved boat ramps...now I just need to save money!
