whenever i am coming to a stop light etc, it seems that the brakes are ginding pretty bad......and sounds like its metal to metal....I can feel the vibrations on the pedals and on the steering wheel??? What do you think is going on???

there is a metal tab on all brake pads that is called a warning sensor, when the friction material gets low enough then the metal tab starts hitting the rotor to warn you your running very low on material. It is kind of a kick in the ass to say, hey buddy, change me. If you are feeling a vibration in the steering wheel when you brake then you are gonna need rotors to. Rotors that are warped, scored, pitted, or overheated will "pulsate" You might as well get cross drilled rotors since their cheaper then the factory ones. At least in NY they are.

My guess would be your pads are gone and you're grinding into the rotor... been there done that twice now.

Oh yeah, be prepared to buy new rotors if that's the case...
