    question about head swap

    so after i did my basic suspension setup, i am thinking of doing a head swap. so here pop up my first question. would it pass smog test? and if just replacing the head would be the same as replacing the motor, might as well do the whole motor and tranny swap? also my tranny is going out

    It would pass the smog test. Changing the head isnt the same as swapping the motor. The head is a component of the motor just like the block. If the transmission is going out then go ahead and rebuild it or get another one.
