    belts just jumped off

    Has this happened to anybody? Had my belts just jump off today. The two in the back. Think it was for the ac compressor and the power steering I think. None of them broke just came off, car has about 100K on it

    probably a seperated crankshaft pulley.

    fix it immeadiatly if that is the case.

    i had that happen to me before tooo, i was pulling out of sonic , and :x BOOM :x it happened nothing major was wrong though and i had about that many miles as well

    your lucky, my friends belts skipped and he skipped a timing mark, the WHOLE head detonated, HKS 272 intake cam got ground, valves bent to shit, pistons have nicks in em, terrible stuff

    put the belts back on and started her up and then the engine died out. After taking it apart found that the harmonic balance plate is shot or something so getting that fixed. $300
