2000 Mitsubishi Galant ESit's probably the IAC.
So yesterday morning I drove my car to work. It drove fine for the first 5 mins but when i came to a stop the car would completely stall on me. I started the car up again and it started fine, I put it in drive and it drove sluggish while in low rpms but once i accelerated the car drove fine until i had to stop again and this is when it stalled again. Drove it to a corner store to check under the hood and everything seemed fine. Started the car up and put in reverse but the car would instantly die. What could this be? I think my iac finally crapped out
it's probably the IAC.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.
I say its possibly its your IAC or a bad MAF...both have similar symptoms.
I would try to replace with another known working MAF and see if that solves your issue.
Are you getting a CEL?

check leakage on the intake tube or like every body said it is the maf
check the spark plug men,!

i dont think it would be a spark plug, but i would clean the maf sensor and see if that helps or iac
