hollllly sh*t. That actual opens up a lot of room on the rear valve cover, and allows for simple maintenance like changing the spark plugs without having to remove the damn IM
Found this...

Damn... it's facing the wrong way. Anyway, where did you find that!?!?

should be pretty easy to manufacture facing the right way for us I assume. Just gotta flip the bottom plate that connects to the lower plenum, and then flip the whole unit.. then again I don't know what the bottom of it looks like. If its not perfectly symmetrical, then this is not feasable lol
uh, you guys realize the pic was taken from the back side of the engine (notice the oil cap is missing indicates rear valve cover)
we did. and the manifold is still facing the wrong way
maybe it's designed for different setup than what we're accustomed to.
Most likely something for a 3000GT perhaps...
it's for a Magna(Diamante)...

So...why are they facing the intake feed to the passenger side?
maybe he has some sort of forced induction setup and the piping would be more efficient if it was on the other side?
Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.
yea I was gonng say it can't be for a 3000gt because the engine would not have been positioned correctly. The timing belt needs to be on the other side correct?
Yea, you can see the intercooler (atleast I believe that's what it is), on the second picture, no way you would get good efficiency N/a with that kind of intake design so it's clearly an FI setup. It's a good design though if they are running a turbo on the rear to keep things a little cleaner looking.
I totally spaced that lol...
