very clean! I couldn't get all the vacuum accessories and harness plugs all neat like that.. I think one of the brackets didn't mount up like I wanted it to

Looks great, man! Nice work.
If you post stupid and incorrect information, you will get red nuggets.
Thanks Pete!
Adrian, it won't be a problem at all. I should be able to take some tomorrow for you.

I wish the Eclipse had that much room under the hood. I cant put the strut bar on my eclipse with the 74 in. :(

Yeah somehow on the Galant end, quite a bit more space under the hood. And my strut bar barely clears. Literally it does by only a hair.
Adrian, here is the link to my photobucket folder with the vacuum and electrical routing I used.

alright thanks matt! I'll have to see how I can clean up the left side of the manifold when I get home tomorrow or the next day
No problem. Good luck, and hopefully it goes well for you.

Made a stop at the junkyard today to find something for my dad's truck and stumbled across a few decent finds. Infiniti Q45 throttle body and 6G74 Diamante throttle body. The Q45 throttle body will eventually find it's way onto my car, but will not even be considered until my 6G74 is built and complete next spring.
Size comparison to the 6G74's TB

Now that is a true big bore TB. The sizes are 90mm (Q45) and 68mm (Diamante), and 65mm (OEM TB).
Good find though man!
Are you building the block tor turbo or N/a?
It is definitely a beast. My 74 will be a N/A build for now and remain that way for probably a year or 2.

Ok cool, if you are staying N/a you could easily use the stock 74 rods instead of dropping the cash on a set of the 3sx ones. There are a lot of guys running those rods on full N/a built blocks and some pushing boost to them still.
You have any goal for HP to the wheels for the build?
very nice. gotta go one of those manifolds that BJ got too :)
True, it seems the 74 rods hold up fine to decent power, but I still plan on going turbo eventually and figure I might as well get the rods while I have the chance.
My WHP goal realistically is in the 240-250 range. I'm not really sure what to expect yet.
And I just noticed the XG350 mani was for sale and sold quick. Unfortunate timing. Though I have no idea what price you had on it, I would have taken that thing off your hands in a heartbeat! Those runners would have come in handy. I just have to cross my fingers and find one at the junkyard during the next few months.
