    3g addco front/rear sway bar

quick question. will the 3g front and rear addco sway bar fit the 8g? the rear one for the 3g looks the same but has an extra bend on the right side to clear the exhaust. i think...

There is an ADDCO bar for our cars specifically. No need to buy the 3G bar.

yeah i already know that but peeps say that it keeps hitting their exhaust or something like that. that's why i'm asking about the 3g's sway bar. What about the front will it fit our 8g....

I believe the GTZ has the thicker bar and the Addco is the thickest. I have the rear addco bar and its not hitting anything because I bought some adjustable rear endlinks from COMPLX which worked wonders.

The GTZ bar is about 18mm. The ES about 16mm (if memory serves). The ADDCO is 22.5mm.

i've installed an addco and haven't had any problems hitting the factory exhaust.

with the 3g rear sway bar you have to hack up the underside of your car because the rear jack point gets in the way.

ES is 18mm, GTZ is 19mm and ADDCO is 22mm I think
God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.

There is a rear jack point on the spare tire well, that has to be essentially removed to fit the 3G ADDCO bar. Other than that the Galant ADDCO fits (fine on mine), and with different rear links has no problems at all.

yeah no problems with the factory exhaust but if you have an aftermarket one then it will hit. at least that's what i've been hearing. does anyone have pictures of their addco installed on their G. And what about the front sway bar for the 3g.

I have an aftermarket rear sway bar (not sure what brand cause I got it from lKorty) but that thing is thick as hell, and it actually fits just fine with the stock endlinks

you don't want a thicker front sway bar on our platform, it will lift the inside front wheel on hard cornering. in fact the GTZ, which has a slightly more "performance oriented" suspension setup, comes with a thinner front bar than other trim levels (as well as a thicker rear) to reduce understeer.
