Well i got some stuff done to my car the past weeks,
Spectre air filter( i love it)
    NGKr iridum plugs
I had a no start issue, so i pulled the starter, it tested all good, changed the batterey terminals and 3 fuses and she started right up.
I tested the OBX coil packs, i cant say anything good since my one coilpack melted when i started it. So i will be contacting the company and trying to get a replacement, the other one though didnt melt.
I painted the fins on the grill flat black
Sorry if the pics are bad the are cell phone pics.

And i love this pic but the hood needs to be shut along with the grill in place

Yeah just like in my build thread the obx coils are crap! And so is their company. Mine just won't fire at all. Direct injection my behind.

WTF!!!! How the hell did that melt??? Are you sure you want to keep using them if the coil pack melted? Im having real big second thoughts on this....did it do alot of damage on the inside of the motor?

thats what I was wondering too, how is it where the coil pack melted?

What have you ordered so far out of your list? I think its something to work for. Are you going NA or FI?

Well as for ignition goes I haven't got anything for it yet cuz Im looking around to see if there is anything out there to upgrade the coil packs but as fo what I see....no.lol the only thing I have right now is HKS twine fire for the build.

The other coil fired, since the spark plug shows very slight wear, the one that melted did not fire.

I am still going to use them unless i have another melt on me, luckily there was no damage to the motor my spark plug had a little bit of melted rubber from the boot, but i peeled that of and was able to still use the plug. I put stock packs back on and they fired fine so there is no damge that i know of. the tube leading down to the spark plug is undamaged thankfully. i caught it in time i heard a tapping when i started it. shut the motor off immediatly and pulled it, and thats what i found.

I havent ordered much yet, sometime down the road i would like to go turbo, first things first i need a 5-speed since the automatice slippps reeeaaallly bad, after that i will see where things take me. so i will probably be NA for awhile, untill i get the money to swap, with an evo.

Do you like the HKS twin fire??? also how hard was it to setup???

Yeah man i will, i am still counting my lucky stars that there was no damage, amd i am no sure if the coil packs themselves are junk, just the one was. I am hoping to gett my money back, or atleast a replacment.
