7G & 8G Galant Springs : Interchangeable ?

I own a 7G Galant VR4 that originally had a 2litre DOHC V6 TwinTurbo engine & I have replaced with a 6G72TT 3litre engine,gearbox & transfer case. With the added weight of the larger engine I find that their is too much up & down movement and the car feels & is front heavy. I have changed the shocks to KYB AGX's and this has helped quite a bit, but I feel that I need asprings that are designed for this amount of weight. The 8G galant V6 has the 6G72 engine, so I am wondering if the springs for that model are interchangeable with the 7G Galant.
Can anyone answer my question ?
Will the 8G Galant V6 springs work on the 7G Galant ?

The back may, but the front will not.
How about some Eibach's instead? They are a tad stiffer than stock and don't drop the car too drastically...
