i think you could but then again you run the chances of melting the plastic... i dunno if its worth to try that!! it looks good!! i like the darkness it has now
Well I got my taillight covers yesterday from The Zap man.
Very good quality plastic that he used but there are a few imperfections.
I really don't want to return them because they look real good from afar but I would like to get it to sit a little more flush. Do you think I could heat it up with a heat gun or something like and get it to fit better.

Diego
it looks good dawg
i see what youre talking about. but they look good, none the less
You got these to didn't you Anthony. Did you also notice these slight raise of the cover in places or is it just my set?
when i put mine up against the lights tyhey looked pretty good. i hadnt planned on putting them on permanently until i got my altezzas. but i will look closer at that when i get home from work
Okay so you haven't gotten them on yet. Okay just let me know how well they fit.Originally Posted by Hourglass113

I just put mine on before also...the drivers side fits fine,...its raised yes and there is a gap on the bottom
the passenger side seems to have a gap on the top towards the left side of the light..., and the curve ontop seems to not sit in the right spot...kinda sorta causing the gap....
I'll take pics tomorrow
they do look sweet as hell though...very good qualiry...thanks again Darrell
okay jason, i didnt put them completely on, but i held them in place and had my wife take a pic, and you can see that the top portion of the cover does bow out a little. i'm sure that when you press down it will stay. i would think that a heat gun would soften it enough to work it .
Yeah see that is how mine is sitting on the left side. The right is okay on the top but the two bottoms are kind of bubbling out. Well I just might get the nerve to heat them up but I don't want to heat it to bad or they will melt. I have been asking everyone's else opinion and they don't seem to say that it looks stupid or anything. In fact they like the way that it looks but you know how I feel. It is your car you want everything perfect.
i see how it pops up a lil bit on some places. uhm how about some more double stick tape? like cover the whole edge with it or something so it wouldn't pop up?

Lookin good Jason!
allan, there is double sided tape right in that area in my pic, but as sturdy as the plastic is, i'm not sire if it will hold. i could always use the extra tape that came with it
Looks good Jason.
