i love my 6G72...you can build a pretty mean NA motor out of a 6g72. How can you go boost for only a grand? And are you talking getting a whole new car or new engine?

hehe x2. But a mean NA 6G72? Last I heard 6G72s are having issues putting down close to 210 NA. 6G74/5 swaps though can be a mean build.

How are the conditions of the cars you were looking at OP?

You have a 4G64... why would you want to use the 6G72 motor? If you wanted to go thru the hassle of dropping in another motor that requires that much work to install then I would get a 6G74... in all honesty you are better of just turbocharging the motor you have now...

the guy i bought the car from has the turbo already and everything for it and he is gonna do it for the grand but on the 6g72 i was just gonna get a whole new car and it wont be turbo, i would just do like intake and cat back on it mostly, and 4 them are in really good shape 2 have a new rims and tires

Well then I think it boils down to practicality... simple and plane get the 6G72 and call it a day... or tune and mod your car and be different turbocharge it...

i think i can pull more power from the turbo cause my 4g64 has a 30 over bore on it and a full 2.5 cat back and i think its gonna have about 6-9 pounds of boost but im not sure on that one, and i just have some other work donr on my car now i would hate to lose it all

    ugly car^^

Are you into tuning and modding, you do seem that way a bit so I would say work on your 4g64. For the 3k you would spend on a 6g72 minus what you can get for your car I think you could be putting down similar power with more opportunities to increase it in the state the car is in.
