    Guys is this setup ok?

Im planning on this setup for a long time.. an SPL type setup.

    SubWoofers - 15 ' Kicker Solo Baric L7HYPE
    Amplifier - DLS CAD15
Box - im planning a L ported box rather than a sealed one.
Mids and tweeters - Kicker SS series
    Headunit - Pioneer DEH 5050

is this setup ok if i want a bass type car??:p:p:p

I bet you it will! I have used the L type ported box designed by Kicker and they kick ass..

Sounds good but it all depend on what type of bass u r looking for. Sound like u r looking for crazy loud bass, right? If so u r on the right path and you might also want to consider a JL amp

I used JL 500/1 for 1 12W6V2 on ported box and it slams load enough but still having good SQ.. Just ensure you give enough power to your sub..

If the kicker sub you are using is 1000rms or more.. You will need a JL1000/1 or any other brand that will match the rms rating of your sub to optimize it's full potential.

I had one of those for my first setup, it was extremely loud but sound quality is not the best. Also it probably weighed 35 pounds or so and thats the sub alone...
