    Normal Voltage

If the headlights, fog lights and aircon are switched on, what is the normal voltage of the car?.

I checked my 7g and it goes down to 11.8v when in idle but when running it increases to 12v (note that headlights, fog lights and aircon are switched on), but if the aircon is only switch on it changes to 12.8v.

A regular car's normal charging should be at about 13~14 volts. A good battery should always have about 12V. If your car goes down to 11.8 then basically you are draining from the battery directly. Possible cause is alternator or bad connection.

Both the battery and alternator should be above 14volts. 12 volts means a low charging system voltage or a low battery, meaning you need to replace the battery and/or the alternator.

Okay I also suspect that it is a problem, we change the IC(integrated circuit) of the alternator and change it to a high ampere, now my question is if the voltage reaches to 15-16 when in idle will this affect the alternator, car or will it result to other kind of problem having this high amperes?.

amps and volts has direct relationship, upgrading your alternator to a higher amp would not affect your voltage. It will still be 13~14 volts charging. However, if your charging system reach 15~16v there might be slight problem where you over power your circuit, result in breaking a fuse or burning wire.

Okay I will still observe to get the accurate charging voltage

In idle it is 16, but when on rev it reaches to 17

voltage regulator usually which is built into the alternator

    what do you mean?

if the charging voltage is too hight that usually mean the voltage regulator is bad. However, the voltage regulator is built into our alternator.

Uhm we change the regulator inside the alternator to make the amperes go high
