    Cruise Control Problem ~!

I don't think my cruise control is working properly.

While heading towards Six Flags yesterday I tried using it.

Switch it on, and saw the cruise on light.
Tried to set speed by pulling down the lever. I let go of the gas and speed decreased dramatically. I turned off the cruise and tried again, still nothing. Then I tried pulling the lever and pushing in upwards, none of the attempts were successful.

Anyone know what might cause this problem? Thanks

Sounds like the cable might be fowled up. Just check it out, if not take it to the dealer and say fix this, it should still be under warranty.

WTF!?!?! isnt your car under warranty? and what exactly do you mean, they yanked it out? was he mad at the car and said "take that!"? I accidently knocked mine off and took it in and all they said was wrong was exactly that, it was knocked off. no charge. only the nail im positive THEY put in my tire with a nail gun! fuckin bastards. anyway no charge. and they should have inspected it before they sold it to anyone. and you should always go to dealership if it is under warranty. live and learn I guess.

Yeah well Koeppel Mitsubishi in Queens isn't the best. They claim that problem is man made so it is not covered under my warranty.

What can I do, without paying the 80+ dollars I cannot get my car back.
