NEWBIE
1990 SOHC Manual
Hey Guys,
I'm new to the forum. I'm actually new to Mitsubishi (my first one ever). I bought this car for my nanny to get back and forth from out house with. I don't expect her to drive the crap out of it but I do want to keep it running for a while. It has 258k miles on it. Supposedly it just had a valve job and "cylinder head work." I've heard that the timing belts and water pumps go out on these car ever 50k miles. Is this true? What else should I look out for maintenance wise? I'm sure you'll probably say everything on a car approaching 300k miles. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Guys
