    What shift cable?

will a 1g or 2g shift cable work for the 3g transmission? i am having trouble finding the shift cable for the 3g whereas i keep finding ones for 1g and 2g.

Not that I know of. You need 3G cables.

I believe you can re-use the bolts from the AT flexplate. Lucky for me I had an entire drive train at my disposal during my swap, but I'm almost positive the bolts are the same whether you're AT/MT, 3G/8G.

If you use a OEM 3G flywheel you can use the stock flexplate bolts. If you use a 2G, aftermarket 3G (Lightweight flywheels), or a Aftermarket OEM style 3G you will need to use the 2G GS-T Flywheel bolts.
