    4g64 oil pan question

i need a new oil pan and i was wondering are the 7g oilpans compatible with the 8g i don't want to spend a lot of money, i was going to do a oil change today but decided against it because it is that bad, looks like the tranny pan will be leaking next, but compatibility for the oild pan if any would be helpful.

i'm not 100%, but i would think prolly not since the engine's faced different direction's they would be a different shape, not drastically different but different enough it wouldn't fit properly

see i was thinking other than the drain plug facing the other way it would work unless the blocks have a different bolt spread or something, thanks for the promot reply, once i get home i will lookinto it more, i have been trying to find a picture at work of both pans but i am limited here due to proxy restrictions. bastards.

I did an oil pan gasket part # cross reference, so if the gasket is the same, the pan will bolt up; so any of the above pans will bolt right up. But if the pan is a different dimensions, then you might run into issues. I dont think Mitsu would make a few different pans for the same block but who knows.
