    Running lean

now i have all the gauges in and im preping for the final stages of the build fire up the car and it reads very lean and i was worried about how long it has been like this etc.. i drive it every day and it made a 14 hr trip down and back from tennessee no hiccups or anything.. im just alarmed at how lean it is and was wondering what it could be.. i was thinking the fuel filter but it never suddenly dies or sputters maybe the FPR went.. injectors are fine.. is it set to run that lean normally?? any help is appreciated thanks

Bet you've been enjoying some decent MPG numbers Chris.

Umm on a more serious note have you changed your fuel pump or FPR when you did injectors? You're still on a stock unflashed ECU right?

now this is very import. do you actually have a wideband? or is just a A/F gauge? i have an A/F gauge in my civic, the things a piece of shit. it always reads hella lean and slightly less, but still alarmingly, lean under boost; when in fact my car runs rich as hell.

Thats because you need a wideband!!!! then you also need maft translator so that you can change the ammount of fuel.. Just drive the civic off a cliff.. HAH j/k

You should be running around 14v on idle or cruise idles..that is normal. Anything higher 15v + at idle or cruise...there is a issue

Now when you are a WOT and running lean..then you have a issue to look at.

um this was last year.. does not run lean now and i have an aem wideband. took it out when the turbo came out and put in the narrowband to occupy the spot in the pillar

it was just lean under load then wot it would go rich which id rather be rich but driving it back from tennessee constantly seeing it so lean no matter what i tried to do alarmed me. this is no longer an issue

I dont want to start an argument. So please do not be offended. The afr you read on the unit is not in volts. 14.1 is a ratio not a voltage.
