What r the differences between all the 7gee's ? like the difference between VX, VR4 and Touring n etc etc

depends cuz in the states we have S, ES, LS for 94-96 and for 97-98 we have DE, ES, LS

basically S/DE is the low end, stock stripped

ES is partially loaded with power mirrors and stuff

LS is fully loaded

The VX editions are JDM and come loaded with a 6a12 motor and sometimes twin-turbo, they also have headlight washers and a rear window wiper

The VR-4 for the 6g was a 2.0 DOHC Turbo made under DSM.
The VR-4 for the 8g I'm not sure, someone else can answer that one... It's one BAD mamajamma though!!

the jdm 7g vr-4 has a 2.0L v6 dohc 24valves turbo engine, the 6a12T with 240bhp and awd.

the jdm vx-r has a non-turbo 2.0L v6 dohc 24valves mivec md engine, 6a12 mivec md with 200bhp and fwd. this engine is similar to the jdm fto's 6a12 mivec... but without the md technology.

the euro v624v or its counterpart, the jdm vr has the non-turbo 6a12 engine with fwd. the 2.0L v6 24v 6a12 dohc n/a has 165 to 170bhp. the sohc version has 150bhp. this model comes with the jdm diamond edition front bumper or jdm vr bumper with front lip

the jdm 7g super saloon has a 2.0L i4 16v 4G63 sohc with 140bhp and fwd.

the jdm 7g viento i believe has a 1.8L i4 16valves sohc 4g93 n/a engine and awd :shock: . i cannot remember the bhp rating.

all models have 4-wheel disc brakes, a/c climate control and oem 7g galant bodykits except the 7g ss and viento with only standard a/c knobs and has no bodykit.

btw: in australia, new zealand, japan and europe i think there is a 7g wagon/ estate version with the 6a12 dohc n/a but has standard a/c knobs.

btw:

the 6a12 series are high revving engines. you could "safely" push it to 7500rpms. the tach display on these jdms are max out at 9000rpms.

i have an 97 ES and mines fully loaded w/ alloy rims,grain trim panel,moonroof whats the difference between the LS and mine????

I know the digital climate control is one. There may be a few more subtle differences too...

LS comes stock fully loaded ur was prolly added with options
