    Icon9 Melted headlight wire harness problems ! !

    My old headlight wire harness had melted when it touched the alternator and now I got a new headlight wire harness and I has installed a new one and now only my hi beams come on not my low beams can anyone possibly help me out plz ?

    depending what wiring you bought it could be wired wrong. I bought a replacement wire harness that looked identical as the stock one but the wires wouldnt be plugged the same way. test wires with test light on low to see if they get power.

    I have the same problem because my headlight socket from the passanger side got burned soo all I did was modded it a bit and connected it straight.
