Oil Filter

What does everyone think about bosch filters?? I had a friend pick me up some oil and oil filter, i usually run Fram extra guard, but everyone says dont use it. So he got a bosch filter, what are your thoughts on this filter??

fram is garbage my teacher who is a pro engine builder said he would only use them as a dust cover .

Im on my 3rd bosch filter no problems at all.

I've had several mechanics say fram is a no-no.

thats what i have heard, but then again my machinist recommends them and has been using them for 25+ years , plus he uses them on a 6,000 hp pro-mod and all of the high performance motors he builds, so i am not sure. i personally havent had problems, i was looking more for testimonies against bosch or fram, not a he said he said.

I havent had any issues with FRAM.

I wouldn't touch Fram. Bosch is essentially a Purolator.

I only use Wix on anything I own or service, period.
