    tires

Hey guys i just got some enkei 17s and they have some pretty wide tires (245). Every time i hit the slighhtest bump they rub the lip of my quarter panel, jw but what is the widest we can go on the tires for an 8g?

Is the Evo 8 rims that you have? I remember talking to Reelax about that, and he mentioned that 225/45/17 was the best to go for with those with a mild drop (eibach) like mine.

    215/45/17, 225/45/17, 225/40/17.

    Pick one.

    Have a Q too???

I can get ahold on thses puppies...

The seller has them without tires and they are
    8X18 ET 23 5X114.3

my bad is that Im only running on 4X114.3 so I will have to get a hub from an eclipse 2gen and the calipers and rotors too... for all to fit...

What does concern me thou is the fact that the ET on the rim... if it fits the EVO... would it fit the Galant???

no the guy i got em from had them on his 300zx but sold the car and i got the wheels for 100 with tires.

Blue8g im not sure on the offset. i think he said they were +5

pinoyesv6 idk i think they would clear if i rolled it but i dont want to mess up the paint job. i work at a body shop yes but its still expensive lol plus it might put small buckles in the quarter

i have 225/45/17 enkei's 17x7.5... i might have a shot of them on my page see what you think..never had any issues although tirerack.com never recommended getting 225/45/17 on them. sits PERFECT for 17s in my opinion.

Stretched tires look good when done right.

300zx's ran mid +20 offsets. Enkei really never made anything that was only +5mm offset. As far as the tire size, size down to a 225/45R17 and you should be ok.
