well my Fing battery died, and i heard somewhere that if u leave the battery disconnect for so long u need to enter a code into ur factory radio to disable the imbolizer, is this true??? if so i dont have my factory radio anymore so what do i?? im i screwed?? this day couldnt get any worse :evil:
Don't panic. You only have to enter the code in the stock radio to unlock its anti-theft system. Since you don't have a stock radio, it's not an issue. Other than that you won't need to enter anything for the ignition imobilizer. You can replace the battery and you'll be fine, except your tranny will need to relearn from its stock granny style mode.
