Cyber 2 Front Bumper. I need some support.

Hey there guys. I had a cyber 2 front bumper when i bought the car, and it wasn't installed well to begin with, but i got into an accident and went and bought another cyber 2 bumper. Now i had installed it, and now it slowly coming off. I'm about to steel bond it. But my MOM is kinda upset that there is nothing behind the bumper in case of impact, and i mean she's right. It's strictly bumper to metal. Is there Something That i can add in between to cushion some shock or something?

actually this is pretty much my car right here..

I've looked into it.. and i think its called
    FRONT BUMPER ABSORBER

im finding some for other years to be as cheap as 20 bux but the one for this year is about 159 USD. Now can i buy one of these and like apply it to my car wherever so that it fits, and or cut/ carve it for this exact bumber? I was going to used a steel bonding epoxy to put it together. Which now i realize may not be the best idea.. Screwing it may be better, just in case i need to remove it, However i might steel bond the actual bumper on. RIght Now its being HEld Up by Tape.

also how would one go about it if i wanted to instal the vr4 bumper onto this car with this kit...

    this one

Dude I would suggest getting one custom made at a local bodyshop, just go to different shops and ask for a price.

Since your existing one has been removed then I would have a custom one made. If you cannot get a custom one made go to junk yard find a galant that has been rear ended and rip the front bumper off and take the crash bar. Then go to a shop and they will cut crash bar for you.

hmm.. so i suppose there is no real DIY for this then huh.. alrighty.. I'll call up my friend who owns the shop ask him for a custom crashBar.. and see what he can do.. Out of curiosity.. What would be considered a good price for this?

I had the stock crash bar behind mine which supported it then it was bolted up like an OE bumper.

so are you teling me that if i buy that crash bar and mount it i should not have to modify anything when mounting the bumper. Everything should fit fine? Do you have any pictu of when you were mounting it?

For the cyber 2 body kit u have to modify ur crash bar because the bumper will not fit right w/o modifying. This is probably the reason why your car doesn't have the crash bar (which is stupid imo), just get a custom one made and it will also help support your bumper and keep u safer if you ever get into a front collision.

    100?

theres 4 screws to a crash bar lol. unless you have to get a custom made one to fit your cyber, i dont see why anyone would charge 100 bucks to put it in lol

Yea man.. It's for the Cyber 2. He's probaby going have to cut it - custom fit it for the bumper..

Hacksaw, cut it beside where it inserts into frame rails, and you're done.
