calling on wheel guru's for help

been wanting to upgrade my wheels for awhile now and i found something that i like. I really like the black mesh look that i have going on and havent found anything close to it except these.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-EN...Q5fAccessories

    What do you guys think?

Also ive found other wheels that ive liked but not in black. If i paint them does that depreciate the wheel if i were to sell them afterwards?

those look dope. i think if you do a great job painting them it should really make the depreciate.

What's your budget? Those wheels you posted are great and from a reputable company, but if you want really cool mesh get some work vs xx, those hardly depreciate.

i was looking into them but cant find them in black, i know the "meister" come black already. Thats why i asked about the repainting, cause i would get for example:

    or

    http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/pts/2315357636.html

and get them repainted for a little bit more in price..

gets 19s Danny. Thats what grown men drive on. JK.

I had my wheels painted at Turbax, down in So Fla. They came highly recommended and their work is great. However, after 2 years of daily driving my car. I have nicks in the paint and u can see the original color. Its not bad, maybe 1 or 2 nicks per wheel. but They are not perfect anymore.

been doing some more hw on wheels and think ive changed my mind and gonna go with these:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WORK-...Q5fAccessories

it states on the bottom i can go 18x9.5 +38, so i would go with the glim silver thats on the evo..

    What do you guys think??

you wont be able to fit 9.5" wide easily

  17. #17
i know thats what i thought, the work website offers 7.5 and 8.5.. closest authorized dealer to me is http://www.velocityfactor.net/script...dCategory=2633 so might pass by and check it out

18x8.5 +38 would work nicely in front and rear. 18x9.5" +38 would also fit in rear, as long as you don't run more than 2.5 degrees negative camber. You would need to run 225/40R18s all around to fit without rubbing, and run relatively low negative camber.

So with all the searching and back and forth ive gone between wheels, im really leaning towards these now.. cant help it but i like black mesh lol..
